Darling Dynamo was first founded by influencer/content creator and Mamma Mia superfan, Marissa Taylor, on July 17th, 2020. First launching on Etsy under the shop name “IslandFindsByMarissa,” this little shop strives to produce ethically and sustainably made goods that are each handmade and packaged with love by our Marissa. Recently launching the rebrand of the shop as “Darling Dynamo” in early 2022, Marissa has since gained many sales, followers, and friends that encourage each other to live life to the fullest and inspire their very own Dynamo hearts.

Marissa is a full time content creator, small business owner, and recent 2023 grad with a major in Vocal Music Education. Since watching the film Mamma Mia! for the first time in 2017 before the release of its sequel Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again, Marissa found an everlasting inspiration in the film’s mantra and story. Being able to live in a world where nothing but ABBA and Dancing Queen reign - dancing until you drop and running around Greece without a care in the world - is the dream; and it’s this little shop’s goal to make that as close of a reality as possible, thanks to Marissa.
